You are the expert in your own community and your opinion helps us make better decisions.

We're refreshing our Engagement Framework. It's the way we connect with the community across our projects, services and day-to-day work. Whether we’re planning a local upgrade or shaping future priorities, we want to hear your ideas. This input helps us involve you in ways that feel meaningful.

We developed our first Engagement Framework using community input in 2021. It’s now due for review, and we’re inviting you to have your say. Find our first framework on GWW's website.

Our engagement principles

These principles are our promise about how we will work with you.
  • Integrity

We protect your privacy. We have a responsibility to hear your views. We report on engagement outcomes without bias.

  • Respect

We know that everyone has a different perspective, and we welcome all views.

  • Understanding

We take the time to understand how our projects, programs and services could affect you.

  • Authenticity

You have real opportunities to influence our work. We are clear on what you can and can’t have a say in. We provide information whenever we can, and we act on your feedback.

  • Inclusivity

Everyone has a right to be heard. We provide information in easy-to-read and accessible formats. We will minimise barriers to your participation in our activities.

  • Connection

We strive to develop strong relationships with customers, communities and stakeholders. We aim to achieve the best outcomes for everyone.
