We will also store some equipment and our site compound on Gore Street, shown by the pin.

What to expect during our works

We'll make every effort to reduce the impact of our work where possible.

  • Changes to traffic conditions

There will be some changes to local traffic conditions.

Traffic controllers will be on site to help vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians safely navigate the area.

  • Businesses are still open!

Gertrude Street is still open for business! We will be working closely with all traders ensuring it's business as usual for locals and visitors.

Traffic controllers will be onsite during work hours to help you navigate the area and continue accessing your favourite spots. Footpath access to businesses will remain open at all times.

  • Construction noise and dust

There will be construction noise and dust from machinery and vehicles during working hours.

Noise during construction will be in line with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Victoria guidelines.

  • Changes to parking

There will be some parking changes during our work.

You may see some machinery and materials stored in street parking bays on Gertrude Street and Gore Street.
